is the motor in the grip? If so, it might not be reaching the gearbox, try turning the screw at the bottom to raise the motor

It wont actually fit into the grip properly, and there isn't a screw to adjust the height. I can't see one anyway

It's the motor that wont fit into the grip properly, it sticks out a little bit
