I'm actually jealous. I wish I could do with just one rifle and one pistol, but... I just don't think I could. I could probably get away with two pistols, but for rifles I want a gas bolt action, a spring bolt action, an HPA DMR, a GBBR DMR and a GBBR regular rifle at a minimum
My lad and I have our original two tone M4 AEGs, which are our backups, I've RIF M4, TM mk23 and TAC41 Lite. He has a AR15 and Hi-cappa. Apart from our respective pistols, we will mix the primaries between us, which obviously gives us more play options, although we don't usually know what type of game we're doing, until on the field. Unsure if I'll get any more at present, but if I do, I may have to sell an air rifle per RIF, to make space in my gun cabinet and to appease the wife.
The brain parasite that lives in my head copes by saying "well you've only got one of each platform right" which is how the collection's bloomed to... 13 (pistols don't count! they're all different! apart from the two idential USPs i have!)
Ah yes, the "have or don't need, but want" mentality ... always want more, but these days, have to justify "want" into a need to myself, before even trying to get it past my wife.
Only thing I'm not interested in more of, is tools, spent over 20 years building up my tools for work, only to have most stolen, luckily my day to day tools were in another location, so untouched and I've done fine for the last 10 years with just them, only having to buy the odd tool as needed for a job, but £35k+ down, I'm not making that mistake again.
That's what I keep trying to convince myself of anyway.
