Bought the boneyard M249. I did open a paypal case (got a response pretty soon after) so decided to close it to give the seller the benefit of the doubt (which is my fault). I’ve accepted that I might not see a refund or the item delivered but I’ve tried numerous methods of contacting with no response. Figured this might work.
It wasn’t a massive amount so I’m not too fussed it’s just the principle of it. He’s seemingly sold other things and had no issues so I’m really not too sure what’s going on here.
@DRG Bro, Why on earth would you close the dispute? ?. You should leave it open and active until your item arrives and is in the correct condition that was advertised when you bought it. If it doesn't arrive and they're failing to provide any legitimate info to you then you just push it onto the next stage and let PayPal take care of it.
Leaving it open until it arrives (or doesn't) literally does no harm to either you or the seller whilst you're both sorting it out. If the seller told you he was sorting it and asked you to close the dispute, that's just another red flag. Always keep it open until you have the item in your hands and you're satisfied with it. Hopefully your bank can help you out mate ??
