@AirsoftTed In retrospect I should've said M4A1 is that's exactly what it was, just has a real old school surefire handguard in place of a USGI plastic handguard or a RAS.
@Herrgh far as I can see they stopped making whole guns at least a couple of years ago, did just a few accessories and now even those have stopped.

Nice. I love the G&Ps and the oldschool ‘issue’ guns. The new URGI I’ve just put together is as highspeed as I’ve ever been (and the first thing newer than 2004) and i still have the urge to put it back to stock.
If you’re in need of a USGI style plastic hand guard I have a brand new one I’ve just taken off of my MWS. You’re welcome to it for the price of postage!
Likewise I have a spare G&P RAS that you’re welcome to for £25. It’s nearly new. I had to buy a whole front end kit from Firesupport to replace the outer barrel on the G&P M4 RAS 6 position you recommended I buy nearly 11 years ago now!
I tried to fit it to my MWS but the part which mates with the gas tube didn’t fit. Hence nearly new incase I’ve scuffed it (I don’t think I have from memory).
