When speaking to members of my team they are all east londoners so there described journeys sounded like far too much hassle lol

Getting to the sandpit for me is a bit of a trek due to the trains I have to take, but Joe goes regularly to the sandpit so you should drop him a PM via Facebook and meet up with him.

I never realised how close it was to me Adam, I can get one bus or drive there in less than 20 minutes

Every time I do a route planner for it, it starts off by taking me in the opposite direction due to the trains i'd have to take. Where do you live again? Woolwich?

Yeah, see how long it would take you to get a train to woolwich arsenal, a 96 bus from outside the station takes you straight to blue water which is beside the sandpit

A 96 eh? Can you get that from anywhere near the market in Woolwich? I can get a bus to the Woolwich ferry and get over that way.

Very near the Market, are you familiar with the what used to be the park? the bus stops along there is where you can catch the 96 and it goes straight to bluewater, how you would get from there to the sandpit however I'm not sure as it appears to be accross a main road from the map, taxi maybe?

No idea yet. How long would the bus take to get to Bluewater?
