Yeah maybe, though I've heard some of the tougher nylon materials you can use to 3d print are seriously strong - not really sure what people are commonly using in their printers.
i have worked with some of the proper industrial grade stuff and with the right geometry it can be surprisingly strong, but still not sure it'd work well in this case, teeth are just too narrow.
