This website is so obviously vibe coded with claude, can tell with the overuse of the "/" and the format. Go nuts fellas, find fun stuff on here!

also if you wanna use it I recommend using a dummy/temp email - I really don't trust where our data is stored
 
I remember when they was advertising it on reddit (of course...) and they couldn't answer any questions people had 😂
 
website says "airsoft tacticool" whilst the about page looks like a LinkedIn post written in that peculiar distortion of English favored by middle managers and recruitment agents. Franky I'm surprised that there's no mention of actioning deliverables.

some observations made in no particular order and with no particular purpose:
  1. Claims to care about safety but mentions nothing of any kind of active moderation against scams, just a reputation system.
  2. Pay to win option for pseudo retailers at £3/month, getting musk era blue check vibes from that.
  3. You have to pay to bump ads best i can make out, unless you're blue checked AX+ in which case you can bump one ad a month.
  4. Blog section with such riveting articles as "what is airsoft?" and "does airsoft hurt?". That phrasing makes it sound like I've cherry picked those 2, which i have, as they are the only 2 articles in the blog section.
  5. Cba reading the safety protocols section as it's pretty much "don't get scammed idiot" but with ai levels of using 10 words where 1 will do.
  6. Joule calculator is the same thing every retailer has had on their site for donkeys
  7. I cba reading the ukara section to criticise it, but i've no doubt there are better ukara nerds who can provide us an amusing rundown
  8. I don't know why there's what seems to be a backup landing page in the "resources" drop down menu....

Overall I rate this one £300 bulldog/10

I'm certain this was mentioned here a good while ago but there were lots of problems with the beta version of the site and not much in the way of offering assurance that people would be protected by scammers along with no answers being given to questions about how personal information is secured.

EDIT: Oh boy. Some of the pricing there is Mackworthy! :ROFLMAO:

Yeh I mean the website screams claude code. The layout, headers, and font are very close to the default layout that claude would use. There's no requirements for having a physical timestamp on your sales which to me is a huge red flag.

Whatever "updates" they made in the time since beta seems to consist of writing prompts into claude going "Fix website make no mistakes" - would be very cautious about my personal data using this site

The difference is that you learnt from your mistake and sorted it out, something tells me that place is full of the people who would double down on their mistakes.

The whole thing just screams usedairsoft2.0 to me

Okay so I did some digging, a lot of this guy's projects are using vibe code. Usual suspects, Cursor, Raycast, Claude.

Tune in folks soon I will be revealing my new agentic powered airsoft site "Pengelly's guns and shit" - lemme just buy all those claude tokens
