I ran dual slings! Rarely run akimbo because of the downsides, and no one makes a decent holster for the VFC A1 non folding handguard locally.

Providing covering fire to the bomb carry team on the approach to stockade. LCT AK12, WE Sig P226 on a shooters belt.

Occasionally have to pull the mag back to get it to feed.

Local site (Skirmish, as they very clearly watermark!) finally got around to putting up the pics from last month's Wednesday evening game.
Temps were about 30c at the start, and didn't get below the mid 20s until it got dark, so went for the jungly vibe.

FINEST Chinesium G3 knockoffs in MC Tropic
8fields MC Tropic JPC and all the toys (dangler, minimap, placard, dump), with a couple of EmersonGear RG mag pouches glommed onto the sides.
Salomon X-Ultra 360 midcuts
Mechanix Fastfits with the dexterity fingers cut off
Specna Mk18 and E&L AKS-74U, rotating between gats to avoid overheating.

Cracking game, first time I've seen this kit in third person and I'm actually really happy with it.

How does skirmish play these days? I'm tempted to try it again. Not been for years and only 15 minutes down road from me.

Honestly I'd bet it's basically the same as it was when you left.

I had about a 7-8 year gap playing there and literally nothing had changed except the upstairs of the fort and the bridge on Berlin Wall are permanently off-limits now.

I really like it, it's definitely creaking as a site now with modern guns able to shoot spawn-to-spawn on convoy and barrels, but it's a really friendly, really chill atmosphere. Very much a 'set menu' site, you know pretty much exactly what you're going to play, but it's comfy.

Nice. Might have a trip down. Last time I went was 2017 time. Think alot I use to play with there no longer play. Been playing a bit at cough "phoenix".
