TM Glock 17 & 19 Gen 5. I've been running the 17 stock for a while and it's an excellent pistol. Just picked up the 19 and it seems to be just as good as the 17.

I've heard some things through the grapevine about the 19's slide not being as smooth as the 17s, apparently they've changed the hammer parts or something so it has that little 'bump' that you used to get on the gen3s and such?

You are correct as the 19 doesn't slide as freely as the 17. I've not taken it apart to compare but it feels like the old Gen 3/Gen 4 bump.

Did you build this or buy it? I was looking at one almost identical for sale and kicking myself i didn't grab it, I'm a big race gun fan and nice one's rarely come up!

Built, I had done a Limcat SpearCat open build before that I regretted selling.
I had kept an eye out for a nice AM/GSB open kit but the prices have gone wild in the last couple of years. Picked up the 5KU as an experiment (have seen issues with their hammer boxes and valve knockers on their old Adv Frames before) and was gobsmacked at how good the fit and tolerancing was.
A few months ago I put one together in Black and the kit was on par with any AM/GSB slide/frames I’ve had previously. They’ve done a very good (but very naughty) job of cloning this set
