Marui HK45s with Detonator slides etc

[Mobius Strip]

Hi Guys,

I have an impending house move ( ) which means I need to shift some of my collection.

First up are these HK45's with Detonator slides and other bits.

I have one in Tan/FDE and one black. The tan has ambi safeties but apart from that spec is the same.

Marui HK45 - £150
Detonator aluminium slide and barrel set £200
Detonator Heinie Slant Pro steel sights £40
Creation outer barrel £45 (saw these for £83 on Firesupport)
Nine ball inner barrel £24
Maple Leaf I key ----


The Creation barrels were fitted as they are the correct 16mm thread
The unused Detonator barrel would be included.

So adding that up I get £459 per gun.

Given the condition (only marks are the edges of the Creation barrel chamber), would 70% be right? So - £321 ?

I am a bit out of the loop but any advice/confirmation would be most welcome.
Fingers crossed I got the format of this post right too.....

Can I add that I have purchased several guns from Mobius Strip over the years, and the quality of build and the attention to detail of all his guns is second to non.

Never owned any of Mr Strip's creations but having been on the receiving end of them I agree they're bloody good

It seems be a pretty niche gun despite generally being pretty awesome...

I've managed to pick up two of the pistols, one in each colour , with spare mags for under £200 total

Maybe its the time of year but it may be worth holding onto them

Sounds fair but may take awhile, specially this time off year, for a quick sale make it about £275. Beautiful pieces by the way.

Another vouch for Mr Strip. He's sorted numerous guns for me that were giving me headaches. I'd imagine any of his personal guns to be built as exceptionally.

My point was you can’t compare the standard Marui H&K plastic pistol to what’s on offer here, the cost of upgraded parts and the work to fit them to an extremely high level.

I'm 6'4" & the Cistine Chapel is way over my head too.

Well you can....
Price is usually dictated by demand....
I'm not disputing the value just pointing out that there doesnt seem to be a lot of interest in this particular model, which would mean the seller would most likely be better off holding on unless the right buyer comes along...

More likely to get value in a trade
