    Does anyone know if the standard Daniel Defence Rail would fit an ARES L85A2 without needing an adapter? Or modifying anything in anyway?

    The real one fits the Ares, the airsoft one doesn't, I don't think it even fits with an adaptor. The real one is your only option.

    How much is the real one mate?

    It varies, depending on where you look. They can go for anything from £250 to £50, though they're generally around £80 on ebay I think.
