Try and get some heat on it if you can , VFC can be very liberal with the thread lock . When I fitted the JP heavey tecoil weight I had to heat the bolt extension up to be able to unscrew it. Worst case , it's drill it out and re tap.

Would have been an autobot rubber most likely , that's my usual go to .

If it feeds without the body pin in and when you drop a BB in then my money is on something becoming misaligned when the pin pulls thr top reciever down tight . Try a different hop unit and see if that gives you more clearance .

Fitted a Crazy jet and M/L rubber to mine and a mate's . Took a bit of fiddling and adjusting , but all went back together fine . Pinched up the C clip that comes with the rubber a bit to improve the seal.

Does it fire if you drop a BB dirsectly into the feed tube ? Could be a misalignment issue .
