I think you have the wrong end of the stick. All everyone has tried to say to you is simply that, no matter how unlikely it is that you will get shot point blank, there is still a chance, not even a particulary low one. And nobody here wants to take that risk, there is no need to, get ballistic...

I never like to give definate advice on the law, because I'm not a lawyer. However I'm pretty sure that your not allowed to spray a two tone gun even if you have a ukara license, it's called manufacture. Also I agree these rules are stupid, but they saved airsoft so I can't complain :)

Okay, I was in this situation myself and here's what I found. Land warrior airsoft is good for acu bdu's. They are £30 I think, they are nice quality will last you. As far as plate carriers go, it's going to cost quite abit, replica or real thing. I think they use osprey body armour, not sure...
