Sorry for missing this, didn't get a notif through. I got mine pretty cheap so just wanted to focus on getting the gearbox internals sorted as a starting point. It's got an airsoftpro hop unit but I don't know what any of the components are beside that. I haven't been able to field it yet...

Nice thread by the way, found it really helpful just reading through. That's also funny that the right side on yours is worse, on mine the left side binds and feels coarse but the right side is really easy to to move. Is there anything you found that helped with getting it working smoothly?

Out of interest did you get the ambi selector working well? I'm currently working on one of these and I've got it functioning but it is extremely sloppy and awful to use.

I'm looking at getting an E&C M4A1 receiver set as it's the only thing I can find with full Colt trades. I want to get a new gearbox shell for this but not sure what to look for in terms of something that would work well and make tech work easier over a non QD shell. I've seen the retro arms...

Yeah, I think the outer barrel is my next step– my only worry is the compatibility of different parts and ending up with a load of stuff that doesn't fit together. On the topic of filing bits away, I've already tried modifying the original d-ring and outer barrel with no luck. I'm a bit worried...

Cheers for the advice. Will a standard delta ring fit since the stock TM outer barrel has two lugs protruding at the base? The stock TM d-ring has cuts to slide past them but I don't know if you'd be able to fit a standard delta ring with the cuts in place. I'm at the point where I am tempted to...

Is the fitment the same as the TM M4 GBBR setup? I've already bought one and found out the fitment is different for the stock delta ring + 2 others. I might end up going for a whole new outer barrel setup but again I need to figure out what the fitment is for it.
