Unfortunately, that puts the risk in a buyer's hands over the whole gearbox as it could be seized gears, a cabling fault or a failed motor. I take it you don't have a spare motor to confirm or rule out the original as a/the cause of the gun not running?

Regarding the Tommy Gun Do you have more specific information on it having "stopped working"? Does the gearbox sound like it cycles or do you think it's seized? Is the problem specifically with the gun or could there be a feeding problem with the drum mag? The more problems you can rule out...
