Because of where it melted into the side of the stock I do wonder if there might have been mechanical damage when I adjusted the stock in a notch.
Either way I am now rewiring the gun anyway so will be taking a look at that too but thank you for the thought. Really appreciate it.
Hi all, it's been a while. A little story time first... Had my first li-po fire the other weekend at an event in my 417.
Rifle was on safe and slung waiting for the next game to start when I smell something funny and see whips of smoke coming out the stock... Needless to say stock was removed...
On the TQ side of things, interestingly enough, first aid courses are starting to bring them into mainstream education slowly. There have been a few mass casualty events in the last ten years where first aiders understanding what they can and can't achieve would have made a real difference along...
Hi all,
Just after a few bits that are hard to find. Has anyone used these guys before? It looks like it's Ares direct to customer shop front but it's a bit quiet on the site review front.
Anyone used them at all?

Thanks all
Yeah, it can be intimidating but actually most airsofters are a friendly bunch and you'll quickly meet new people.
I did have an advantage of meeting a few people at a training event and having nods etc. I didn't run with them but I recognised a few faces around and having been doing milsims...
Had a fun weekend at Stirling this weekend. First Stirling in a few years and good fun. I was running solo but was lucky to be attached to 1 troop although the takings really were the same as any other callsign. Lots of patroling and recce to build up a target package before conducting strikes...
A few little updates on the mws... And the fact that it's no longer looking like an L119A2... So the CQBR is back and I am appreciating the slightly lighter weight ?
Thanks for correcting me, that's the stuff. Toyota have a lot to answer for confusing me ?♂️?
But thanks for that I didn't realise they offered 1 litre and 5 litres versions!!!
On a similar thread I've had really good results using GT-86 which is a PTFE spray that is also a dry lube which means that it doesn't attract and hold dust.
With regards to particularly silicon grease (not oil) this should be avoided for metal on metal and sliding contact as it heats up and...
So I'm in the process of building up a toxicant rattler and I'm looking at the T8/EMG lancer mags. Has anyone got any experience with these? How do they compare to the stock mws magazines?
(For reference I have more than enough TM mws mags I just like the look of these for a .300 BLK build)...
Just a few bits for me as I'm hoping to get out a bit more this year having been doing life stuff most of last year, a Crye SPS frag pouch (the inserts mean it can carry everything from pistol mags to 12g shells) and a replica scalar leap aimpoint mount for my MCX(the holy warrior version) and...
Tbf from what I remember they don't apply this to the skirmishes that they run and in reality I don't think that I've actually seen them take issue with a rif for as long as I've been playing there, they're generally pretty relaxed really ?
I'll have to see if I can find that post...
