    New guy question about revolvers

Awesome posts, thanks guys. Black Death: that gun is beautiful. Also: you are one big b*stard! :P I'm not too worried about the overall look of my loadout. A slightly mismatched, DIY kind of approach has always been more my thing and no doubt that will apply in airsoft too. :)

    New guy question about revolvers

I know I need to prioritise thinking about a rifle, and I am (I like the look of a G36, but plan to try it out first along with an M4 to see what feels right). I'm just toying with ideas here, really. I'm very excited to get involved and thinking far in advance about what I might eventually want...

    New guy question about revolvers

Hi, just getting into airsoft - honestly I haven't been to my first skirmish yet! - but I've got a feeling this is the kind of sport I can get into. Thanks for the replies and advice. I did make a couple of cheap, cautious purchases from 'onlybbguns' of spring action pistols to get back into the feel of shooting, but based on what I've read here and elsewhere, I'll go somewhere else for future purchases. I will say, though, for anyone...

Thanks for the input on that, jim. If that's the case then there must be a higher standard of rental gear maintenance on airsoft sites than at the paintball games I've been to. I'll never forget my brother's friend's gun discharging 6 paintballs into the side of my kneecap at point blank range...

Airsoft newbie, long time shooting enthusiast

Hello, recently succumbed to a long held urge to buy a couple of airsoft guns for popping at targets and am now looking into going to a couple of skirmish events to see what it's like. I haven't done much shooting of any kind for a few years but I was shooting .22s from early childhood right up...
