I now do a Google Lens search on the pictures if I'm suspicious. Seen a lot of similar listings ripped from the USA eBay. It's a handy tool, especially for Used Airsoft where they don't have awesome mods

Strangely, I have had some absolute bargains from there.
I've also had a few fewer deals from there, sadly they feel like the exception.

Me too. Unfortunately the site has regressed further, especially since Airsoft Hub went offline. At least Airsoft Hub's admin stepped in to close scam listings, spam and other crap on the site.

Fully upgraded ssg10 A2
Selling my upgraded ssg10 a2 Great gun shoots far and hard selling because i’m playing more cqb at the moment so it is not seeing a lot of use. Comes with loads of accessories including an adjustable scope around 2.5 kg worth of quality .4g ammo, a custom made chest rig that holds 4 sniper mags...www.usedairsoft.co.uk
Holy mackerel
First off - what £250 upgrades make an SSG10 worth a grand?!?!?
This is just daylight robbery (or knobbery) of the highest order
I've seen that before. It's a bit suspect.
Fascinating. Didn't know that. I sell the odd bit on eBay, the bastard's wanted my id and national insurance number or they wouldn't pay out on stuff I'd sold. I wouldn't have sold it if I realised that, but wanted to get paid.Oh that's an old, old eBay listing trick.
You see if you entirely sell out stock, eBay closes the listing and you need to pay a fee to open a new one. It's faff and money. So a lot of sellers who run down to 1 item in stock give it an insane price no one would ever pay.
Means the listing stays open till they restock, and then they can update the listing to reflect the new stock amount.
Robbing bstard taxman getting his grubby little snout in to everything

They benefited me last year calculating an income tax overpayment. I still work out that I owed, but I’m not arguing with their calculationRobbing bstard taxman getting his grubby little snout in to everything
