Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

Holy mackerel
First off - what £250 upgrades make an SSG10 worth a grand?!?!?

This is just daylight robbery (or knobbery) of the highest order

I will never understand anyone wanting to sell a gun with a lot of money spent on upgrades but not thinking to disclose what they are.

It's like the wankery of "fully upgraded" when not only has the gun actually not been fully upgraded, the stock parts remaining are usually the first to fail.

Oh that's an old, old eBay listing trick.

You see if you entirely sell out stock, eBay closes the listing and you need to pay a fee to open a new one. It's faff and money. So a lot of sellers who run down to 1 item in stock give it an insane price no one would ever pay.

Means the listing stays open till they restock, and then they can update the listing to reflect the new stock amount.

Fascinating. Didn't know that. I sell the odd bit on eBay, the bastard's wanted my id and national insurance number or they wouldn't pay out on stuff I'd sold. I wouldn't have sold it if I realised that, but wanted to get paid.

Any marketplace / income stream host must now report to HMRC if you hit thresholds
That does not mean tax is owed, it does not even mean that you need to complete a tax return

It’s about £1700 or 30 transactions per year.
(And it’s in the terms on signing up to eBay that nobody reads, even before the details of this change in the last couple of years you & I agreed that the tax man could look at our records if they wanted, the recent change is a trigger for eBay etc to notify them)

Robbing bstard taxman getting his grubby little snout in to everything🐷
......🤬
They benefited me last year calculating an income tax overpayment. I still work out that I owed, but I’m not arguing with their calculation

Calling out scammers on UsedAirsoft = they set the listing as "sold"

But you can still view it. Very clever on their part 🤣

Edit;
More scammers trying to hide their dodgy shit 😂 Platform is an absolute mess..

Why's the site still up ?, if the owner won't moderate it what's the point, surely any revenue stream isn't big enough to justify the aggro felt by everyone who's ever been scammed on there.🤬
