Newb looking for a GBB Pistol

Yello,

I'm looking for a decent valued GBB Pistol (propane), with a good mag size, I have a budget of around £60 and it needs a max FPS of 350. There's so much choice I have no idea which ones are good value. So any advice would be great.

what have you found already? im looking too, and would really like a glock model. i just dont have the money for the TM, though its my dream sidearm :/

also, max fps of 350? pistol? good luck. why must it be so high? or am i misreading, is that the highest its allowed to be?

try a WE (Both Of you) not really listed as Propane runners but they'll hold out i'm sure

I can't stress enough how much of a bad idea a metal slide is in the UK, they weigh a lot and our weather means you simply can't shoot a whole mag reliably.

TM make the best pistols (for UK weather), and not by a small margin either.

KWA and WE are fine if you want a showpiece that looks nice, but if you want something you can rely on to go bang when you squeeze it you HAVE to get a plastic slided pistol (or go CO2)

I have a KWA M9 Full metal (everything you say not to get)......I have put around 900 shots through it now and not once let me down or faulted on me!

I remember my friend having 5 shots out of his M9 in the winter and it ran out of gas haha. I guess it's luck of the draw, I'd always go with TM, I love the feel of the plastic and it works. All I'm saying

hahaha thats fine saltyyy you have gone off a personal preference over preaching TM are the best. I used a WE M9 until it developed the dreaded WE problem and never worked again.

is advertising like that allowed out of the specific threads?

anyway, would a tm take green gas well (uk cqb usually indoor)?

I HAVE gone off personal experience.

I own a KWA USP.45 - won't empty the mag most days

I own a WE Hi-capa - will never empty the mag

TM XDM.40 - empty the mag almost every time (it's missed twice from almost auto-like firing)

TM MK23 - I've managed 5 mags before It's become unusablely low on gas before.

I demo pistols loads at the shop and very few will ever manage a mag down the range - the only full metal non-expensive one I can think of that has is the ASG CZ60 - got two mags out of it the other day, really impressed.

Have you tried the Extreme (orange tin) Blowback Gas? With the green gas it does seem hit and miss to it emptying the mag. Out of the box it was fine for the first few times. We then tried the extreme gas and found it to be pretty consistant and emptying mag no problems.
