It's never been skirmished as it was used purely for display along side my collection of Vietnam War era militaria. This is how the front sight wing got broken off, when moving around my display it fell against the wall with the brunt of the force being on the wing. I attempted to epoxy it back on however it didn't adhere. Replacement front sights are available.
It has x4 Mid Cap magazines and x1 High Cap magazine, the high cap mag it came with originally was damaged in transport somehow as the wheel would just spin and no BB's would go up the feed tube.
This is the later model with the G&G ETU which gives a fantastic trigger response. I have wired it to deans in case I wanted to take it out to a skirmish.
Aside from a small scuff on the base of the wood near the mag well and a light scratch on the cheek area the wood is in fantastic condition. The heat shield that came with the replica was a horrible, rattily, shiny awful bit of plastic - That has been replaced with a genuine M14 heat shield which looks absolutely incredible and shows some character and age.
The scope and mount is thrown in to make up for the damaged wing, the scope has been weathered and shows some remains of paint however works great. In the images it is wonky however this is due to my sheer incompetence to put it in the turret rings properly and not the scope itself
